Faith's first zoo trip

Today was mine and Jesse's 7th anniversary. It was such a wonderful weekend. We got to go on 2 dates, see 2 movies, and take Faith to the zoo. It could not have been a better weekend.
Faith seemed to really enjoy the zoo. We went bright and early, before it got really HOT. Faith was so good. It was such a good time to go to the Dallas Zoo because 2 days ago they opened a new section for large mammals. I had never seen a Giraffe so close before; people were actually petting and feeding them. It really felt like we were somewhere else besides Dallas.
Today Faith also said "mama" more than any other day we could remember. It was so sweet.

11 months

We went to the Dallas Arboretum and met Jenn, Mabes and Allie. We had a picnic lunch and walked around to look at the beautiful landscape; of course Jenn and I brought our cameras. The girls are all so sweet and photogenic. That night the girls spent the night with us so Mark and Jenn could have a date night for their anniversary. We had so much fun; cooking, building tents, playing with play dough and so much more. I wish we lived closer so the girls could stay more often.
Faith turned 11 months that day.

The piano

Faith loves the piano. Hmm I wonder where she gets that from???? She has really begun to pull herself up to everything, and has just recently discovered she can pull herself up to the piano keys. It's so exciting for her to be able to do something on her own. Fact is, she wants to do everything on her own and have NO help from Jesse and I. I know we have our work cut out for us.
* oh this was also the FIRST time she ever wore a pony tail. It's tiny and of course she pulled it out, but so cute.

Addi's Birthday Party

Addi turned one this past week. She has been a friend to Faith since she was born. Faith is really beginning to love Addi. She gives her kisses and follows her around in the nursery everywhere. I can't wait to see how they act towards each other when they are older. I hope we can continue to stay friends with Amy and Jeremy as God leads us through life.
