Beautiful baby

I love this look.

My beautiful baby. I know as a parent you think, "is it just me or is my baby the most beautiful thing ever." Its not just me, she is!

Grandaddy and Grandmom

How wonderful Grandaddy and Grandmom have been to Jesse and I in preparation for Faith. It has been so hard to choose grandparent names. I came up with Grandpa Gandalf but that didn't go over to well. Finally mom and dad came up with their own names( thank goodness). My mom and dad have had this instant love for Faith that is so sweet. The way dad says "wait, I didn't get to hold her," and "are we going to see her tomorrow?" Or Mom calling every day and asking how Faith is. She is going to be very taken care of by all her grandparents. Once again we are so thankful for the blessing of our family. We love you.

Uncle Matt

We miss our uncle Matt. Matt is serving our country as we speak in Korea. He will be there for a full year or longer. Our only way of communication with him is through skype. Faith has a daily lesson of speaking "Matt". Corrie and Matt are going to be married July 11, 2010. We are so excited for them and so glad Matt is the man God chose for Corrie. Matt was so sweet when he held Faith. He is going to be a wonderful daddy some day. We miss you Matt.

Faith is 1 month old!!!

Can you believe it? 4 weeks have already passed by. Faith gained her birth weight back plus 2oz. So on her 1 month birthday she weighed 5 pounds 15 oz approx. I attempted to make a ducky cake. Well, it was yellow at least.

Tiny Baby

When Faith was born she weighed 5 pounds 12 oz., then she got down to 5 pounds. Today we went to the doctor and she weighed 5 pounds 13 oz. She will be 4 weeks this Friday. We are so thankful everything is going so well. Today my really good friend Robin took our picture outside her house. All Faith's clothes, bows, and even diapers are too big. As you can see, her bow fell down.

Sweet Sleep

Sleep? I have heard so many horror stories of what its like to be a new mom and the sleep deprivation that you will have. Not so true for me. God knows I have to have my sleep. He made me a sleeper. Faith has been such a sweet angel in every way, especially when it comes to sleep. I really did pray that God would give me a sleeping baby and he really did. I can count the bad nights on one hand, literally that we have had so far. Thank you God for my sleeper.

First trip to church

It was so amazing to worship the Lord with Faith in my arms; it was the best thing in the world- something I have only dreamed of. God has deeply blessed Jesse and I with the gift of raising Faith. There is soooooo much teaching to be done.
