San Antonio

Faith and I joined Jesse in San Antonio for a TCDA (Texas Choral Directors Association) convention. We stayed with him in the Menger Hotel for free. It was very nice to get away. We went to the River Walk several times and walked around looking at all the restaurants and people. Faith enjoyed herself. She is definitely a "people watcher". Our hotel was right by the Alamo. We didn't go in but took pictures in front. Faith was really good on the trip, but into everything so we came back one night early. We were glad we did.

Building our home

Jesse and I have finally decided that now is the time to start looking for a home. We have all our debts paid off (except student loan) and have been given money for a down payment. After looking online and shopping with a Realtor, we found the perfect lot that backs up to a field, in a great neighborhood that's small and is five minuetes from my parents new home. We had no idea we would be able to afford/build a home like the one above. It is going to be the perfect home for our family with a dining room, office, 3 bedrooms and an amazing back patio that looks at the country. I will keep posting as each step happens in this fun new journey we are on. Friday we are going to the Design Center where we will start to pick out everything for our new home.

Big Girl Chair

Faith loves her monogramed chair from Aunt Corrie and Uncle Matt. She sits in it for 5 seconds, gets down, then gets right back in. She's so cute and just started watching her favorite show "Olivia" from her chair.

Walker Baby

Faith has just begun to use her walker. She loves getting around on her feet. She sometimes runs into the wall and waits for me to move her around; other times she moves it herself. It's so funny when she moves though, she looks like a little old lady. She is getting so big.

This week Faith has also begun to get her first 2 teeth on the bottom. She has been very fussy and acting different in a lot of ways, but give her some Tylenol and she is much better. Our poor baby is in pain! I feel so bad for her. There is no picture of her teeth yet because she will not let me get anywhere near those teeth.
