New Home upgrades

We were so fortunate to be able to choose new upgrades for our home. We chose all hardwood and tile, tile around my bathtub, frames around mirrors in bathrooms and granite and new backsplash for the kitchen. My kitchen looks so amazing and completely different. You can see in the picture at the top how dark they were before. 

Jesse and I bought a king size bed.  I wanted a Pottery Barm headboard but did not want to spend that kind of money so Mom and Dad helped me make this awesome headboard. It cost $125 total. The one I wanted at PB was $1050. Yay for DIY projects. The king size bed was the best investment we have ever made!!

Meeting Naomi

I was so excited to meet miss Naomi Emmaline. Troy and Rachel, Naomi's mommy and daddy have welcomed Jesse and I with open arms to Cornerstone. We are so grateful for their friendship. Naomi is an absolute blessing. She is perfect in every way and I can't wait to see what type of little person she is going to be.

fishin and swimming

We had a lot of fun staying at Meme and Popple's house. One of my favorite things I got to do was fish with my dad.  I have found that one of my new passions is fishing. It's so relaxing to cast your line and just wait. Having children really makes me grateful for those times of just standing and waiting on a fish. Wish I could do more of that with my dad.

We got this new little pool for Faith. It is perfect for her. She doesn't like to get her face wet so a tiny pool is just her type. Next summer we are going to work on the whole swimming lesson thing.
