On Monday July 30, 2012 Jesse and I received the call from Betty our caseworker. She started describing Micah's birth mom and her history. She sounded perfect. The next words she said were words we will never forget. "Can you come and get him Friday?" Our mouths dropped. We were speechless. We were going to be parents of 2 in 4 days. We didn't have anything for a boy. I still can't believe you are a boy. So exciting!! God has blessed us with great friends that totally took care of us and provided everything we needed. Turns out you really don't need as much as you think you need for a baby. Diapers, formula, and a few outfits. We knew if we got a boy we would name him Micah. The transitional care mom sent us a picture of you and this was the first one. We can not believe we will be holding you in 4 days.
