Our first Christmas in our new home. Mimi and Granddaddy came over and brought a few presents for Faith. I made the traditional sausage and egg casserole. Yummy. Lots of left overs because Jesse doesn't like it. Next year when Faith understands we will make a birthday cake for Jesus and make new traditions in our home. After that morning we went to GG's to celebrate Christmas. Poppy and Deedee were sick so we didn't get to see them over the holidays at all. Once again Christmas was different this year because no Corrie or Matt. They will be here in a few days.

Happy 80th Mamaw
Today we celebrated Mamaw's 80th birthday at Mimi's with all of her good friends and family. It was so fun getting to see everyone. Mamaw is so amazing at how she keeps in contact with old friends. Everyone treasures her dearly. Mamaw, I was so blessed to be able to celebrate your birthday with you!

Waking Baby
Sometimes Faith is the sweetest in the mornings. She gets to enjoy baby hood and stay in her PJ's until we feel like getting dressed. One of the pictures you see is Faith busting out one of her moves while listening to Kindermusik. Then she goes straight to the highchair to eat more. It is incrediable what new things she learns every week.

Thanksgiving 2010
What a month! I am doing a lot of catch up.
Thanksgiving was a little different this year with out my sister around. We went to GG's and Grandpa's this year and had our Thanksgiving feast. It was very relaxing because that was the only home we went to that day. Faith enjoyed the day with her Nana. She played the piano and found snoopy to play with. The turkey was yummy as always GG. It was a fun and relaxing day!

Faith and Ruby
Faith loves my parents dog Ruby. She would follow her anywhere. Ruby is 12 years old with a bad back. Faith pulls her ears, tail and pokes her eyes out and she just sits and takes it. I tell Ruby to run away and she won't. I think she just loves the attention, since Corrie is no longer home.
This is the first picture I actually got to take of her teeth. Don't love the picture but it works.

Moving again
We have moved so much for people that are not in the military. We are now living with my parents for an estimated 3 months time span. Jesse and I feel very blessed to be able to move in with them. There is a room upstairs that we call "our loft." It is very comfy and spacious. Faith is sleeping downstairs in her bed.
The pictures are from when I was packing at our old home. I tried to make it fun for Faith. Give a baby a box and she is happier than anything. We had fun crawling around and through them.

moving
I have not posted in almost a month. Moving makes you crazy busy. My parents moved 2 weeks ago and I have been helping them get settled in before we move in with them on Saturday. I cant believe we are already saying good-bye to our first rent home. It was such a perfect home for our family. Our new home should be finished by Dec, probably Feb though.
I promise I will post more in October.

Destruction
Faith has been, well lets say, "acting like a one year old."
She LOVES to watch herself on the iphone. She cries and screams when we take it away. I had my phone sitting on the table, I told her "No, don't touch mommy's phone" and then she proceeded to shove it off the table, onto the tile; it cracked the screen. The phone cost $200, a cracked screen is $150. I just sat there with my jaw dropped. I just got the phone 5 weeks ago. "Just part of life", I told the lady at the storage place. Thats where we were at the time.
Later that afternoon, Faith and I were blowing bubbles. I laid down and Faith fell on me with her finger going in my nose. It didn't just go in my nose, her finger scrapped the inside of my nose so hard I had a nose bleed for 5 min. I have never had a nose bleed before.
So all that is to say that Miss Faith's red hair is beginning to shine through in more ways than one.

Never again
Today I did something I said I would never do.
Here is the story....
I was going to Costco to get a few things for M.O.P.S. Faith was asleep when we arrived. There was a cart literally 10 feet away. I locked the doors and put my keys and cell in the diaper bag that was in the car. As I stepped away to get the cart the wind blew the car door shut! I couldn't believe what I did. I locked Faith in the car with the keys and my cell phone!!
Right as I realized what happened a sweet women pulled up next to me. I asked if I could use her cell and she called 911. She stayed with me while we waited. The police came within 5 minutes of calling. I was soooo fortunate that it was in the upper 70's that day. I don't think it has been that cool since then. Faith was still asleep when the police got the door open. She was a little sweaty but perfectly fine. God was totally watching out for us. Thank you Jesus!!
